Portfolio Net & Open trade profit

Hi All
Portfolio Manager :
Just wanted to clarify my understanding . Does the Net profit Value $ in the Statistics tab
Include the open trade Profit $ from the summary tab ?
I know that the dividends are included .

Hi Terry.

Correct, it includes Open Trade Profit.

In an upcoming version of BC/PM, you will have the ability to toggle the Statistics tab between Default (as it is now, both Open & Closed Trades) or Closed Trades only.

Trust this helps.

Thanks Karl
I have a portfolio with open trade profit more in value than the net profit?

Hi Terry.

Strange. Suggest sending through screenshot and a current backup to the support desk (support@sharewealthsystems.com) for the team to review.

Once that is done, something to try this weekend before their reply, would be to Refresh Portfolio Value History via the Repairs menu top left of BC.

Hi Karl
Already done that
I suggest it’s probably something I’ve done

Hi Terry,

Responding here to close the loop for other members. Net Profit is the sum of profit/loss for all trades in the portfolio (both closed and currently open trades).

In this instance, there was only one closed Trade in the portfolio and this was a loss trade, resulting in the Open Trade Profit figure being larger than the Net Profit for the portfolio.

As Karl mentioned above, in an upcoming version of BC/PM, you will have the ability to toggle the Statistics tab between Default (as it is now, both Open & Closed Trades) or Closed Trades only.
