A few brokers have sent notifications like this. It looks logical that MoC orders may become more widespread on the ASX.
I placed a MOC order and was pleased to be able to see my actual trade in the course of sales. I was not able to see aftermarket trades before. Key takeaway is how the volume I purchased is chump change in comparision to many other trades that went through for COH after 4pm. Something to aspire to.

Does CMC now have a MOC order type listed in their order types for the ASX?

It does on their CMC Alpha platform. I’m just not sure about CMC Invest platform (I think it does but there may be conditions), so best to check directly with them.
I am in the process of transferring my portfolio over from Saxo as I find the platform and their mobile app much more user friendly. Fees are also slightly lower and my shares are Chess sponsored as opposed to custodial with Saxo.
